School Swimming lessons continue
for Odd numbered rooms this week from 9 -10am. Children need to be at school by
8:45 when the buses will leave. Swimming
days are Monday to Thursday. Even numbered classrooms will swim from Monday
September 13 until Friday September 24. In the last week of school there will
be no swimming on Monday as the Catholic Sports Tournament in on this day.
Swimming will be on Friday for this week only.


Parents please remember not to park across
driveways or pull into the entranceway beside the hall, when dropping off your
children. It becomes dangerous for children when cars are reversing into their
walking space.

There will be no canteen
lunches supplied from Verdon this Friday 3rd September. It is a teacher only day at

had a very successfully sausage sizzle last Wednesday, raising $334.40 for
Ronan McNeill, Bella Barrett & Jared Holland to attend their representative
Southland touch tournaments this up and coming season.
If anyone would like a cauliflower out of the school garden, please help yourself. If you would like to plant anything in the garden feel free to do so.

to be played in the Commonwealth Games and have a competition with your family.

· Congratulations to the girls’ gym team who competed successfully last weekend. The girls were a credit to the school and their families with their wonderful behaviour. Well done! Thanks to Miss Rhodes and the other adults who helped with the girls.

Thanks to all those parents
who are helping out with swimming. The children are really enjoying their time
in the water. Swimming continues for odd numbered classes next week. Even
numbered classes begin on Monday the 13th September.
· During the last week of term there will be a celebration of the children’s work on their Inquiry. This will be held in the evening, more details to come next week.

Just a reminder that on the
last Monday of this term(September 20) all of our year
5/6 children will be taking part in the annual Catholic Cup tournament at
Stadium Southland. The sports will be Netball, Rippa
Rugby, Soccer and possibly hockey. If you are interested in helping to
coach/manage a team on the day can you please see Mr Goodall. God Bless.
