·        Well it looks like the wet weather is here to stay as we get set for Winter.

·        A big thank you to all those parents and grandparents who sent in medals, photographs and newspaper clipping in for their children to share about Anzac Day.  Also a big thanks to parents who came to help make Anzac Biscuits, we couldn't do these neat activities without you.  The children really enjoyed learning about Anzac Day.

·        In RE we will be starting to look at the Jesus strand.

·         Any families in the Junior Syndicate wanting to have spinach, brussel sprouts or silverbeet, help yourselves from our garden.

·        We started the term learning about Anzac Day.  Classes were busy baking Anzac biscuits, making poppies and finding out information about our Anzacs.  Thank you to Mr Leadley who came and spoke to some classes about his experiences in East Timor.  It was great to see a number of children attending the dawn service.

·        We are about to start our Disasters unit and how to be prepared in the event of a disaster.

·        Just a reminder that children should be reading each night at home and their reading diary is to be signed.
