In 1996 St Patrick's was completely redeveloped at a cost of approximately $2,000,000.

The school consisted of 2 blocks 100 metres apart each with 6 classrooms. Block A was the junior block with Block B for Standard 2 and above. The staffroom was in Block A.

After much careful planning and many, many meetings, the first hole was dug in 1996. Henderson Construction Limited was the principal contractor. McCoy and Wixon were the Architects. The whole project was managed by Bill Haydon from Catholic Property Services.

The new Administration Block was the first block to be constructed.Neville Fraser (left in red overalls) a long time supporter of the school was involved in the building of the administration block Sadly Neville passed away before the completion of the project. The bricklaying he started on the administration block was completed by his son Byron.

Block D a 3 classroom block was the next new block to be built. This block consisted of 2 classrooms joined together with an existing prefab relocated at the northern end of the block.

The final stage of the project was the redevelopment of the old Block B.This meant the removal of the 2 upstairs classrooms, the gutting of the four ground floor classrooms, the removal of the mezzanine floor from the hall.

The School was blessed by Bishop Len Boyle on November 9 1997 .
