To
assist the Board of Trustees to comply with the requirements of the Privacy Act
(1993) specifically as they pertain to promoting and protecting individual
privacy

establish appropriate protocols for the collection, use and disclosure of
information relating to individuals.

To provide for access by
each individual to information relating to her / him being held by the school.

To comply with the
Privacy Act (1993)m by appointing at least one Privacy
Officer.

To develop procedures to
assist the Privacy Officer discharge the duties
involved in assisting the principal and staff to adhere to the principles
contained in the Act.
