Apple and Berry Tarts Recipe
Ingredients
1 block of sweet shortcrust Pastry
10 apples whatever is on special
1 tin of mixed berries
2 tblspoons of brown sugar
2 cups of white wine
1 tsp vanilla essence
100mls Berry yogurt


Method
Roll out the pastry to about 4mm thick using a round cutter or a glass cut out shapes to fit a normal muffin tin. Dust the tin with flour and place the shapes into the tin . It should make 24 using all the pastry.Pre heat the oven to 160 celcus and bake the cases untl lightly browned about 10 minute. Let them cool for 5 minutes and remove carefully and place on a cake rack to cool. Increase the oven temp to 180.
Peel the apples and remove the core dice and place into a roasting dish. Add the wine,sugar and vanilla and bake in the oven until the apples are just softening. Remove from the oven and add the drained tin of berries and fold into the apples drain and leave to cool just before serving spoon some of the apple into the cases and top with a little berry yogurt. Serve immediately and enjoy.
