Cottage Pie Recipe
Ingredients
500 grms beef mince
4 large onions
10 button mushrooms
Salt and pepper to taste
10 potatos
Cooked vegetables of your choice
½ a cup of plain flour
500 mls boiling water
Method
In a frypan brown the mince until quite brown andd the finely diced onions and
cook for a couple of minutes then add the finely diced mushrooms. Cook for 5
minutes Season with salt and pepper then sprinkle the flour over the mixture
and mix in. Add the water and cook for 5 minutes. Transfer to a casserole dish
place in a preheated oven 180 for 1 hour keep checking and add more water if
required. Add the cooked vegetables and the cooked, mashed potato and brown
under the grill adding some grated cheese if wanted.
