Crostini Bread Recipe
Ingredients
Any loaf of sliced bread you use Whole meal or Wheatmeal is great
100mls vegetable oil
1 teaspoon Italian Herbs
!teaspoon crushed garlic
Pinch of salt and pepper


Method
Slice the bread into fingers( or smaller if you want) place on a baking tray. In a bowl place the oil,herbs garlic and seasoning and mix well. Using a brush ( a small cheap paint brush will do) dip into the oil mix and paint lightly the bread. Once it is all oiled place into a preheated oven at 200 celcus and bake for around 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and coll on a rack so they don't go soggy. These will keep for ages in an air tight container. They are a great alternative to crisps with the hummus and pesto for the children after school or for the lunch box.
